This Tawny Frogmouth (
Podargus strigoides) was watching me walk by when I was exploring the Coombabah Lake Reserve. It certainly looks like an owl but belongs to the family of frogmouths (Podargidae). As you can see it is very well camouflaged and just as adorable!
