Tanohara Nature Park I

Tanohara Nature Park lies at the bottom of Mount Ontake (3067m) in Nagano, Japan. After giving up on hiking to the summit due to the weather, this small park at the Tanohara base station (around 2200m) with beautiful highland vegetation was a welcome alternative! Parts of the walk are being repaired at the moment are are not accessible (as you can see…).
