Banksia sp.

This Banksia stands on the east side of the Pine Ridge Conservation Park on the Gold Coast, Australia. Based on the location (wallum heathland) my guess for the species would be Banksia aemula – Banksia experts are free to correct me! I really liked how the leaves and the background complemented the flower in this photo.
