Banksia integrifolia, also known as Coast Banksia is part of a large genus of native Australian plants. The characteristic flower spike displayed here differes from species to species, but looks magnificient in almost all of them! You can see the nectar Banksia is well-loved for by bush animals in the picture. This picture was taken on the Coastal Trail at Noosa National Park on the Sunshine Coast, Queensland, Australia.
