Sea Purslane (sesuvium portulacastrum)

A common and beautiful plant of the South-East Queensland coast, Sesuvium portulacastrum is also at home in the Boondall Wetlands and was still in bloom when we visited in late December. The English name “Sea Purslane” is a small mess, whith various other species also associated with this name.
