Blue Sunset

After a nice day in the Mt Cootha Botanical Gardens, I went to the top of Mt Cootha and enjoyed the view over Brisbane. The sun was slowly moving toward the horizon and the color of light changed to the characteristic dusk twilight. Above the dust and heat, the sky turned a beautiful blue while the sun moved behind the trees. I used a small aperture and short shutter speed to get even deeper colours and preserve the atmosphere.
