Japanese Nightlight (Jōyatō)

A series of ancient Japanese nightlights (Jōyatō, 常夜燈) line the many stairs leading up to Konpira Shrine, Shikoku, Japan. I really like their moss-covered and weathered look in combination with the shining white paper.
